Project Background:

My second seasonal piece, again created with greeting cards in mind. This piece is inspired by winter dreams and the mystical beauty of the Northern Lights. It's the first piece I've done where I explored combining digitally simulated chalk and pastels.

A little touch that I added at the end of the creative process is the frosted border around the edges of the piece. I wanted to suggest the feeling of gazing out of a frosted window upon a silent winter scene.
