Trees of light and life float through a void of swirling color...

Project Background:

This piece came by accident (as so many of mine do) when I was trying to achieve something else. I was working with digital airbrushing, inspired by another piece of mine that I had completed a while before. The focus was to be on the form of a tree. But as the forms began to take shape, the idea of trees on islands in a void, like a great cosmic sea, came to my mind.

I like the whimsical, childlike nature and color scheme of this piece. (Vibrant colors are usually most appealing to me esthetically.)
