Otherworldly beings make themselves known in moonlight.

Project Background:

This piece started out as a pencil sketch that I inked and scanned into Corel Draw back in 2005. From there I traced the inked drawing into vector form, digitally colored it, and applied the texture fills. The initial concept was of a male fae who sees something in his scrying orb that makes him melancholy. The sea and the moon are often associated with otherworldly beings and happenings, so they made their way into this piece naturally as I brought it to completion.
