A still life rendering of a beautiful red apple and a blue glass jar.

Project Background:

Another Still Life from a while back. This was an exploration of complimentary colors, and I chose two subjects with very vibrant, rich hues.

I mixed red and blue sparkles into the paint on the apple and the jar, so that those areas of the painting shimmer when viewed under light.
